As a licensed psychologist for more than 35 years, I have experience in community mental health, hospital-based treatment, employee assistance programs, and as a private practitioner. My treatment approach is gentle, but straight-forward. I utilize a variety of treatment-approaches custom-tailored to what works best for you. My experience has made me comfortable with individuals from a broad spectrum of backgrounds and different cultural orientations. I enjoy working with people and have been successful in dealing with many challenging situations.
I work exclusively with adults, 21 years and above. My specialties include: Mood and Anxiety disorders ( including Bipolar Disorder, Major Depression, & OCD); Gay, Lesbian, Bi-Sexual, and Transgender issues (LGBT), and Police & Public Safety employees and related concerns. I also treat individuals struggling with chronic health issues.
I am a trained Clinical & Police Psychologist. I have training in Critical-Incident Stress Management (CISM), Risk Management, Threat Assessment, Pre-employment assessments, and Fitness for Duty Evaluations.
