What all of my clients have in common is a desire to be self-reflective (even though this may be scary), to learn more about themselves at a deeper (unconscious) level, and to grow in ways that allow them to have the life and relationships for which their hearts yearn. This is not easy work, but it is certainly and positively life-changing.

My expertise is in helping clients with high levels of stress, a history of trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship problems, grief (unresolved, complicated), and issues related to work/career, life transitions (marriage, pregnancy, postpartum), care-giving, chronic health, divorce, aging, unemployment, parenting, etc.

I strongly believe in an integrative approach to health and evidence-based treatments rooted in mindfulness and compassion. Solving your unique 'puzzle' must address your mind, body and spirit, reconnect you with your strength, wisdom and hope, and get at the root cause of your distress and pain. Nothing is more important than your health and happiness.

MBCT for depression and anxiety

This lunch-time 8-week Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy group is for individuals interested in learning and practicing non-pharmacological, evidence-based practices that improve one's ability to cope with stress, depression and anxiety. Participants learn how to manage symptoms through mindfulness meditation, cognitive behavioral therapy and other approaches and to develop life-enhancing coping skills that, when practiced in daily life, improve the health of the brain. Consultation is required before joining the group. Next group begins September 2018.
