You are the expert on you. Let's take what you know & mix it up with my knowledge & experience (which includes 20+ yrs after the masters, plus life itself & working overseas, working with people of different races, orientations, religions, abilities, etc. Veterans & active military? Also check!). My passion is helping people live a less painful existence. Reduce suffering. Make your life path easier. I know what pain feels like, & if I can reduce yours then that's what I want to do! Give me a shot. If after the first two sessions, you don't think I can help you, then you don't pay for that 2nd session. That's fair, right?
Don't worry about traumatizing me with stories of your lived experience. Part of my job is to bear witness to your life. Besides validating, I can use various tools like EMDR, PE, ACT, CBT, and even the Emotion Code to take the power away from what causes your suffering so that you can sleep better, feel better, & live a more satisfying life every day.
I want black/AA, hispanic, LGBTQIA+, & other people to use my services, too. It is my obligation to help level the playing field as much as I can. After George Floyd's murder, I went into the community & actively worked as an anti-racist. To see what I did, you can view my FB pages: Equality and Justice for Black Lives, & There's No Such Thing as Sidelines.

Emotional Management
Wouldn’t it be nice if we learned how to handle our emotions in elementary school? Maybe life could’ve been a little bit easier. Unfortunately for the majority of us, we weren’t taught these skills. In fact many of us got the opposite education— emotions are something to be embarrassed about & hidden or stuffed down. In this group you will learn the truth about emotions & how to handle them. in seven topics including emotional management, mindfulness, stress management/problem solving, communication, assertiveness, relaxation, & grief. This is a revolving group, so if you start at topic three, topic one will come around again.
