Emotions feel like they rule your life and cause you problems; DBT can help. DBT was developed to help highly sensitive people who struggle with overwhelming emotions. 50 years of research has shown DBT to be effective with many problems, including borderline personality disorder, depression, PTSD, bipolar, relationship issues, overwhelm and self care. Managing Emotions is an accelerated group intended for those struggling with emotions but not in a full crisis. Survivors of Sexual Abuse for Women
If you have been sexually abused, assaulted or raped you may feel alone and isolated. Survivors is a safe place where you can talk about your experiences with other survivors who have been there and understand. Trauma happened in relationship so it must also be healed in relationship. We discuss issues related to sexual abuse, assault and rape including boundaries setting, safe versus unsafe people, sleep difficulties, trust, shame versus guilt, flashbacks, overwhelming emotions, triggers, problems with relationships and intimacy, and self care. This is a women only group and is a good adjunct to individual therapy.

Unmasking Neurodivergence
Unmasked is a weekly therapy group that meets for 90 min and is led by a neurodivergent DBT-trained therapist. The primary goal of the group is to create a safe space for ND people to learn to unmask and get comfortable in their own skin. Group members will have the opportunity to connect with others who share similar experiences and challenges. Group members will be encouraged to share their thoughts, feelings, and experiences in an affirming, strengths-based and non-judgmental environment. The group will also provide opportunities for members to learn and practice selected DBT skills as needed.
