About
Please note I am not accepting new clients at this time. Perhaps you have struggled with depression/anxiety, and you are looking for ways to cope and decrease your symptoms. Maybe you have experienced one or multiple traumas throughout your life, and want to learn how to live without those traumas disrupting your current life. Or, you might be experiencing a major life change. Whether it is trauma, grief, a life transition, or pregnancy concerns, I am here to help you identify your goals and move towards them using a combination of approaches from evidence-based practices.
I believe that most growth happens within the context of a healthy therapeutic relationship. Using the relationship as a catalyst for change, we will pull from trauma-informed modalities, grief and loss modalities, and Cognitive Behavior Therapy. I've also been trained in attachment-focused Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR).
Deciding to participate in therapy is a brave decision, and I think it is important to honor that decision. Reaching out to a complete stranger to address your worries, traumas, grief, and life changes can feel daunting initially. To maximize your ability to grow, I place high importance on ensuring you feel comfortable within the therapeutic relationship.
