I am a counselor and life coach who works with clients 18 years and up through a variety of challenges that lead to them experiencing distress, such as anxiety, depression, sexual orientation, gender identification, trauma, history of substance abuse, trauma, unhealthy relationships and communication, and more. Clients who choose to work with me find themselves often utilize mindfulness, their own strengths and resources, along with new skills and reframing to empower themselves to make the needed changes in their lives to find relief.
My experience working in higher education, oil and gas, nonprofits, the service industry and event planning gives me a wide range of understanding and compassion for the challenges people face enabling me to meet each person where they are with their current needs, strengths and resources.
Many people find themselves stuck in the same way of thinking, their inner voice tells them they are depressed, they are anxious, they are unworthy, etc. Individuals who choose to work with me find a part of them feels depressed, anxious, unworthy often due to trauma. After getting to know their parts they find they are whole individuals worthy of peace.
