Hi, my name is Linet Olivarez. I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) practicing in the mental health field for over ten years. I have experience working with adolescents, adults, and older adults in a variety of practice settings: juvenile justice, healthcare setting, and emergency response. I am passionate about working with individual’s who may be dealing with difficulty in life transitions and/or painful experiences. The majority of clients seeking therapy is due to something is having a negative impact on their qualify of life.
I aim to help clients in identifying the root causes and removing the obstacles to satisfying relationships – with themselves and others. My goal is to remove obstacles blocking my client’s path by helping them identify what those are and supporting them in feeling secure within themselves.
I strive to create a non-judgmental environment that is empathetic, supportive, and collaborative. I keep in mind that the therapeutic relationship is ever-evolving, and is a healthy mix of being in the present and then examining the process, making changes as needed.
