One of the most beautiful and inspiring things in life is the human capacity for resilience. Everyone has their own story to tell, their own journey to embark upon, and sometimes we get stuck in both the current effects and the aftermath of trauma. Maybe you need a safe and non-judgmental space to feel heard. I am currently seeing individuals, ages 14 and up. My theoretical approaches are eclectic and integrated. My favorites are Person-Centered, Acceptance and Commitment, and Cognitive Behavioral. I have experience working with individuals and families in the foster care/child welfare system, as well as marginalized groups in nonprofit settings.
My hope is to promote positive coping skills, self-actualization, self-awareness, and self-regulation. I want you to feel that you have someone walking with you, cheering you on, and challenging you along your path. I provide a calming and peaceful space for you to genuinely be yourself, and to be heard and supported, without fear of being judged.
