Life can be a wonderful experience though it is guaranteed to be filled with challenges. We all manage these challenges in different ways, from controlling our food/body, perfectionism, avoidance and over functioning. These methods often leave us exhausted and overwhelmed. If this resonates with you I am here to help. I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders, self esteem/body image issues and trauma. I work with my clients to identify their own, unique value system which then serves as a guide post through life. By aligning with our values, we create space to accept the difficulties of life and lead a life you desire.
I am trained in ACT, Somatic Therapy, mindfulness and EMDR. I often enter a clients life during a time of great struggle. I then have the privilege to walk along side them as they provide space for their struggles while cultivating a sense of hope, joy and fulfillment. They begin to identify their strengths and widen their view of self beyond their pain.
I recognize this is YOUR treatment and I approach it as such. I encourage client's to use their voice by sharing their thoughts and preferences throughout treatment. Therapy is not a one size fits all. I am committed to finding the best suited approach for each individual I have the opportunity of working with.
