I firmly believe that we were not made to experience life alone. Stepping into spaces where we feel safe, heard and supported facilitates an environment for growth. My strengths and personal experiences with counseling ignited a passion to support others as they move forward in their journey. I emphasize an environment in which individuals feel safe to step into self-exploration and empowered to utilize their personal wisdom as they take steps toward their best self. My biggest hope for clients is that they will realize they are worthy of unconditional positive regard and the work it takes to move toward their best self.
I have experience in diverse community settings and have worked with both adults and youth with various mental health concerns. I value meeting clients where they are at in a way that honors who they are and who they want to be. I utilize a collaborative approach as individuals define what growth looks like and how they may get there.
Starting therapy can feel scary and/or uncomfortable. Holding space for individuals as they step into the vulnerability of therapy is a privilege that I do not take lightly.
