I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist specializing in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and neurodiversity. I have extensive experience performing comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for youth and adults with suspected ASD and treating conditions associated with ASD, such as anxiety and depression. I also work with individuals who may not be autistic, but seek support for social challenges, stress, and mood. I extend my comprehensive, expert, and compassionate care to your entire family, by offering supportive therapy for siblings and parents of autistic individuals. See www.sterlingautism.com for more information about our clinic.
I have been on faculty at UCLA, Claremont McKenna College, and CSULB, conducted NIH-funded research, directed an autism center at an academic institution, and published widely in the field of ASD. Drawing from evidence-based approaches and extensive clinical experience, I individualize my approach for each client.
I've been working in the field of ASD for almost 20 years, and I'm passionate about helping individuals and their families cope with challenges and capitalize on strengths. I also love working with teens/young adults who are dealing with anxiety, mood, life transitions, and other challenges. We'll work together to find the right support for you/your family.
