Hey! I'm Lindsey Odina a licensed clinical social worker who has a love for supporting individuals as they navigate through challenges when life starts life (ing). My approach is person-centered. I focus on building a collaborative therapeutic relationship with clients in an effort to reinforce self-empowerment and identify personal strengths. I also utilize a solution-focused approach to assist individuals with finding their own solutions to various life stressors. I work towards creating a safe therapeutic environment through use of empathy, reflective listening, and positive regard.
My typical client is one that is faced with everyday challenges and is looking for healthy tools to manage these challenges as they relate to relationship building, boundary identification, and the impact of childhood trauma in adulthood.
I have always had a passion for helping others. My overall goal is to assist individuals with living a fulfilling and peaceful lifestyle. In goal setting, it's important to meet clients "where they are" and build goals from their current baseline. Goals should always feel realistic and obtainable.
