About
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor residing in Georgia. I speak fluent English and Afrikaans. My specialties and experience include Individual Therapy with adults, Adjustment Disorders, Anxiety and Depressive Disorders, Grief and Loss & Relational Conflict. Personal interests include hiking, love for animals, reading, and travel. Virtual appointments only.
I utilize an integrative therapeutic approach, incorporating mostly psychodynamic, existential, and attachment approaches. When necessary, I also use techniques from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
To begin, we’ll focus on establishing the relational trust, emotional safety, and psychological freedom required for healing and growth. I’ll listen for the practical problems that might need sorting through as well as the more longstanding issues that seem to be in your way.
