Congratulations on taking the first step to healing! I understand how difficult it can be to take this first step and I will be with you every step of the way. Through my experiences working in inpatient psychiatric facilities, residential treatment centers and private practice I have had the opportunity to work with individuals from all walks of life with various presenting concerns. My goal is to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel truly seen and supported in their journey toward healing
My clinical focus involves supporting individuals who are struggling with self esteem, anxiety, relationships, trauma, and depression struggles with self-harm, and suicidal ideation. I am a trauma informed therapist and many of my aproaches will include tenants of polyvagal theory, EMDR, psychodynamic and parts work. I also am trained in CBT and DBT.
I don’t believe in pathologizing clients or reducing them to diagnoses. I see symptoms as adaptive responses to life experiences, not personal failures. Therapy moves at your pace and is guided by what feels safe and manageable for you. At the same time, I believe meaningful change often happens just outside of our comfort zone.
