The most common form of suffering I see in people is when they no longer trust themselves. If you are struggling with habits that are harmful; whether it be drug or alcohol addiction, eating or spending money in harmful ways, there is hope that you can trust yourself again. Suffering comes in many forms, but for all in pain there is a way to heal and to feel safe again. My job is to help you find that.
I specialize in substance use counseling; but often addiction is only the outward symptom. There are underlying reasons for addictive behaviors. I help people develop self-awareness so they can find out what is really driving the pain; then I help them connect to their strengths so they can create a future they want to be a part of.
If you know you have to make a change, that your life isn't what is should be, I will do my best to help you figure out how and why. Together we can work on uncovering your true potential, and I will help guide the process so you can tackle the fear and pain alongside someone you trust. You do not have to face these things alone.
