I'm Lindsey, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Substance Abuse Counselor with 23 years of experience helping teens, adults, and couples navigate life’s challenges. My specialties include depression, anxiety, LGBTQIA+ issues, trauma, grief, substance use, anger and stress management, communication patterns, and life transitions. I utilize a range of therapeutic skills, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy, to tailor interventions that meet the unique needs of each client.
Before my counseling career, I earned my undergraduate degree in Speech (Radio and TV track) from Radford University and spent 11 years in the Broadcast Marketing industry. I later returned to Radford to complete a Master of Science in Community Agency Counseling, feeling a call to support others on a deeper level.
