About
Hello there! My name is Lindsey Best and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and owner of B&L Psychotherapy and consulting. I have been in practice for 18 years providing individual, family and group therapy to a variety of populations. I also have a military treatment background focusing on trauma. I’ve worked with adolescents, adults, and families experiencing a wide range of issues related to, depression, anxiety, relationship problems, grief/loss, and physical and emotional trauma. I earned my Masters of Science in Social Work and my Bachelor of Arts in English Literature both from The University of Texas at Austin, Hook ’em!
I believe in holistic treatment, considering the cognitive, emotional and physical. needs of each unique individual. My therapeutic approach is cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, and person-centered, focusing on recognizing behaviors and triggers and creating positive coping skills. My counseling style is sensitive, compassionate, and non-judgmental.
Seeking help is a courageous step in the healing process. My hope is to help guide you through your journey of self-empowerment, positive change, acquiring hope, and leading a more fulfilled life. I look forward to working with you!
