My approach focuses on acceptance, but also changing behaviors and thoughts that are negatively impacting your life.
My approach is useful when working with clients who struggle with anxiety, difficulty making decisions, improving coping skills and self-esteem, and recognizing strengths. Depression and trauma can also be addressed by focusing on positive changes in thoughts, behaviors, and acceptance.
Communication should be clear and honest. I promote a non-judgmental environment where we partner to discuss the pros and cons of thoughts and actions. I also expect feedback based on what is working and what you would like to try next!
