Hello! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in Georgia. I received my Master of Family Therapy degree from Mercer University and have been practicing therapy for 4 years. I am passionate about working with adults struggling with anxiety and grief. I also work with couples who are hoping to improve their communication and connection to each other.
I utilize CBT techniques to explore current thought patterns that are creating distress for my clients. I then help them challenge those thoughts and create alternative pathways to a greater sense of peace mentally. I also examine client's behaviors and how those behaviors are contributing to overall feelings and wellness.
I have been married to my husband since 2012, and we have three kids. We are also hosting a foreign exchange student from Germany this year. I have a background as a Registered Nurse, so I have a great deal of medical knowledge. My heart is truly for caring for others, and I love that I get to connect with my clients on a deeper emotional level.
