I am a licensed clinical psychologist with >18 yrs experience researching and providing evidence-based treatments. There are a number of highly effective therapies out there, and I focus primarily on those that help people overcome: Post-Traumatic Stress (PTSD); Anxiety, Depression, and Disordered Eating. I also work with many adults undergoing life transitions, exploring career identities/trajectories, and navigating romantic partnerships. An growing focus of my practice is existential in nature, assisting clients with finding meaning, uncovering core values, and facilitating spiritual growth and exploration.
My approach is rooted in cognitive-behavioral (CBT), and I also draw from interpersonal, mindfulness/acceptance-based, existential, transpersonal, and Buddhist psychology approaches.
My style is warm, flexible, intellectual, and down to earth. Please visit my website for more information.
I hold active licenses in both Texas and California. I am also credentialed with PsyPact, allowing me to work with clients in most states. For full list of PsyPact states, go to www.psypact. gov/page/psypactmap.
