I enjoy working with a variety of clients, including teens and adults of all ages, with whom I offer a safe environment to share one's story and explore steps towards positive processing and change. I seek to be empathetic, personable, non-judgmental and genuine in my interactions.
My primary counseling lens explores the client's story and assists with reframing the story in order to bring about a more positive perspective. When we are able to reframe, we are able to become empowered with new ideas, new choices and new ways of looking at our life. Internal Family Systems Theory is also instrumental in helping clients process trauma.
