Acknowledging that we cannot face life’s challenges alone and making the decision to ask for help is one of the most scary and courageous actions a person can take. I work from the perspective that all behaviors, thoughts, and feelings make sense within the context of our lives. At times though, things that once helped us cope with our circumstances no longer serve their purpose, but the thought of letting go or healing can feel overwhelming. My goal is to help clients gain better insight into their experiences while empowering a greater capacity for self-compassion and change.
In our sessions you will be met with a warm approach that balances insight development, skill building, problem-solving, and humor. Our time together will provide the opportunity for healing, the adoption of less harmful coping skills, establishing a closer connection with yourself and others, and an overall improved quality of life.
I work with couples and individuals utilizing a highly trauma-informed approach. I am a sex-positive and kink/BDSM-affirming therapist experienced in working with sexually and relationally diverse partnerships. I am licensed in MA, FL, VT, and UT and am seeing clients for telehealth only, including EMDR.
