In my work with individuals and relationships, I take a trauma-informed, person-centered approach that integrates somatic and mindfulness-based practices. I aim to create a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you can deepen your self-understanding and reconnect with your innate capacity for healing and change.
I offer both virtual and in-person sessions, as well as intensive psychotherapy options for individuals and relationships (3–6 hours, with the option for multi-day formats).
My approach is liberatory, anti-oppressive, and anti-racist. I am a queer and neurocomplex therapist, and I enjoy supporting folks with these identities.
Before stepping into counseling, I worked for over a decade as a molecular and computational biologist in tech and academia and understand the unique experience of working in these spaces.
I utilize the frameworks of social justice, intersectionality, and preemptive radical inclusion. I operate with a transfeminist and queer theory lens and work towards a sex and gender expansive world. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization/Reprocessing), a psychotherapy technique designed to alleviate distress associated with traumatic memories.
