There are several reasons why someone makes the decision to start therapy - relationship or family conflict, feeling hopeless or helpless, excessive worry or stress. Whatever your challenge is, we can work through it together whether you would like to meet a specific goal, improve a certain relationship, improve your overall quality of life, or if you just want a listening ear. Together we can tackle anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions.
I believe that you should be in the driver’s seat when it comes to your mental health. I use a client-centered, strengths-based, and trauma informed perspective to help you obtain your own goals in a safe and non-judgmental environment. I do this by using therapeutic approaches that include CBT, DBT, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).
I have experience working with adolescents and adults and I strive to provide you with the space to explore issues in a way where you feel safe and supported. Margaret Wheatley said, “Whatever life we have experienced, if we can tell our story to someone who listens we find it easier to deal with our circumstances," - I want to be that support for you.
