I believe in meeting people where they are at. Therapy is a collaboration, I am not an expert in your life, you are. I am here to partner with you, to assist you with your goals and help you get to where you want to be. With my assistance, you identify your treatment goals. I am here to help break them down into measurable objectives and brainstorm ways we can work on these. You are in the drivers seat though and ultimately choose from the multiple options I will provide until you feel satisfied. We will target your goals using evidence based treatment and regularly communicate about how you feel the process is going.
I provide individual counseling to those who are 22 and older. I specialize in Eating Disorder Treatment and I am an active member of The American Academy of Eating Disorders. Additionally, I have extensive experience in chronic medical conditions, and treating individuals 60+
Sometimes the hardest part of therapy is making the initial call. Please don't hesitate to reach out, I am here to help. When you call, you will get me not an answering service (an exception would be my voicemail) not an administrator. I will read your email thoughtfully and respond and answer your call with kindness and respect. Lindsay O'Malley, LICSW
