I believe people are inherently resilient. You wouldn't be here searching profiles if you didn't have some strength and hope. I also think one of the wildest things we convince ourselves of is that we should just be able to get through it on our own. My clients are often people who are highly capable in some areas of their life, but seem to be stuck or struggling in others. Often this struggle is related to specific traumas, attachment wounds, issues navigating the world as a neurodiverse human, or stressors related to identity.
I work collaboratively with my clients using direct and compassionate communication, somatic and mindfulness based techniques, and EMDR to explore their strengths and what old stories or events might be getting in the way of them having the relationships to themselves, others, their lives, or the world around them that they want to have.
If you are feeling stuck and know all the "shoulds" that "should" be able to help you move forward, but can't seem to feel differently for some reason, reach out. We might be able to work together to move some of the things that are keeping you stuck.
