As an LCSW, I have experience working in a variety of mental health settings for over 19 years including partial hospitalization and inpatient psychiatry. I have been working in private practice since 2012. At Lakeshore Psychology Group, I work with individuals experiencing a myriad of issues including depression, anxiety, ADHD, difficulty with life transitions. I am passionate in working with couples experiencing disconnection, conflict and communication issues. I help clients gain insight into recurring patterns, develop practical coping skills, and create meaningful lasting change. My style is warm, direct and collaborative.
I use an integrative, client centered approach to therapy in which I tailor my treatment style to meet the individual needs of each client. I draw from various methods of evidence based therapies including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Attachment Theory and Psychodynamic Therapy.
My unconditional positive regard for clients as well as my warmth and understanding provides a safe environment for clients to be brave, respected, supported, and heard in therapy. I am passionate about helping individuals and couples overcome the most difficult times in their lives and feel empowered in themselves.
