Making the decision to enter therapy can be a difficult decision, especially when trying
to find a therapist who is the right fit. I don’t believe anyone should feel ambivalent
about their therapist. The priority is finding someone who provides a safe space for
sharing your story without judgment. Questions that might run through your mind: "Do I
need therapy?" "Will talking to someone help me?" "I (we) went before. How will this
time be different?" I recognize that not everyone needs therapy, but I think everyone can
benefit from the support of an objective and compassionate person to empower growth.
My clients often have C-PTSD and struggle with chronic shame, lack of self-compassion, an intense inner critic, anxiety/social anxiety, difficulty setting boundaries, people pleasing, or life transitions. Couples I treat want to gain understanding of negative patterns that seem to persist, or heal from past wounds to increase communication and connection.
I am a relational and trauma informed therapist who has over 18 years of experience and values the courage it takes to embark on your unique journey of growth and self-discovery. I love working with adults to help improve quality of life and relationships. I am currently accepting new clients. Please reach out to schedule a session or free consultation.

Groups
Women's Adult Children ofthe Emotionally Immature
This is a small women's in-person therapy group focusing on the theme of Emotionally Immaturity, and the impact if you are in a close relationship with someone with these traits. The focus will be on, increasing connection, feeling less alone, and reducing social anxiety. The benefit of joining a process group is to have a place to explore our feelings, attachment styles, childhood wounds, and increase boundary setting. The goal is to increase our own self awareness and gain clarity and connection in how we relate to others in a therapeutic setting.
