I have experience treating children, adolescents and adults with diverse backgrounds and ranges of concerns. Seeing such a wide range of clientele has lead me to the belief that the process of therapy should be tailored for each unique situation. I also believe when people have hope and can learn to challenge and replace irrational thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes people are free to experience change. There are many methods to accomplish this and I will help you explore what works for you.
I enjoy empowering my clients with the skills to improve self-esteem, manage stress, and navigate difficult life transitions. My goal is to help clients develop effective communication skills to improve self-advocacy and confidence. Each client deserves to recognize and take control of their personal strengths and weaknesses to develop new coping skills.
I keep up to date with current research and topics through continuing education and attending conferences. If you ever have a question, please ask. I do not have all the answers, but I will do my best to help you find them. Together, we learn from yesterday, focus on today and grow into tomorrow.
