I am a LPC Supervisor with a Masters in Clinical Psychology from U. of Houston Clear-Lake. Much of my experience has included treating adults with C-PTSD, OCD, phobias, social anxiety, panic disorder, addiction, ADHD, depression, and sleep issues such as insomnia. I am also a Certified Mental Health & Nutrition Clinical Specialist (CMNCS) that enjoys helping clients look at their mind-body connection through a more holistic lens. Additionally, I have a passion for providing treatment to other helpers, such as first responders, veterans, social workers, counselors, medical workers, and others who endlessly serve our communities.
For complex trauma, I draw from various trauma reprocessing therapies such as IFS, CPT, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and the Emotional Transformation Therapy (ETT). For OCD and other anxiety related disorders, I utilize a blend of exposure therapies such as ERP, IE, and PE alongside I-CBT and ACT. I also offer faith based counseling upon request.
Through my experiences as a counselor working in non-profit programs, community clinics, the prison system, and group practices, I feel confident and grateful to help you on the path to feeling whole again. My "retired" therapy dog, Kira, will also be in sessions with me daily!
