I am passionate about empowerment and will provide a supportive space for survivors of trauma. Together we can navigate and break free from underlying negative beliefs that are creating destructive behavioral patterns, impaired relationships, or emotional distress in your life. I treat all forms of trauma with a speciality in sexual trauma and adult survivors of childhood abuse. I am an LGBTQ+ affirming and sex positive therapist.
I'm an Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) trained clinician. EMDR is a research based psychotherapy treatment designed to alleviate traumatic memories. It has been recognized as effective by the Department of Defense, American Psychiatric Association, and World Health Organization.
In addition to being a trauma therapist, I also have extensive experience treating anxiety and depression. I understand that life transitions sometimes require extra support. I strive to honor each person's unique self and tailor an approach to meet individual needs. We will collaborate to work at a pace and modality that is the best fit for you.
