About

Asking for help can be difficult. Seeking professional support can feel overwhelming. I approach treatment from a solution focused lens. Our therapy will focus largely on helping you to develop the skills and tools needed to reach your goals and live a meaningful life. My expertise is in both addiction treatment and behavioral therapies [DBT and CBT]. This allows me to approach treatment with knowledge and experience supported by research while also employing a wholly individualized approach, understanding each person has unique needs.
I have clinical training in couples and family treatment from both the Ackerman Institute for the Family and the Gottman Institute and sub-specialize in working with families who have a loved one struggling with addiction or compulsive behavior.
I approach the therapeutic relationship with warmth and authenticity. I believe the only way for therapy to be successful is for the therapist and client to work together as a team.
