Therapy is a collaborative, supportive process. Individuals I see often wish to feel better, decrease stress, improve coping, improve relationships, work through transitions and/or difficult experiences, manage work/life balance, & feel better about themselves. Couples I see work to decrease conflict, improve communication, and gain a better understanding of each other. I also see families with adult children and provide family psychoeducation for mental illness. I am active in my profession and complete ongoing training to stay abreast of the best ways to assist people in achieving goals and improving their lives and relationships.
I have extensive training & experience in helping individuals to improve relationships, resolve family-of-origin issues, work through loss, maintain recovery from addiction, overcome criminal justice issues, & assist a loved one with addiction or mental illness. I am integrative and evidence-based.
I have been providing therapy since obtaining my master's degree in 2000. I completed my doctoral degree in 2008, became a licensed PA psychologist in 2009, and earned Board Certification in Clinical Psychology in 2012. I can provide services in states that have enacted PSYPACT. Please contact me to learn more about how we can work toward your goals.
