In my years as a clinician one thing has always remained a constant, and that is difficulty with transitions and change, which life abundantly throws at us. Regardless of the situation, change or transition is often the cause of unsettling feelings that lead one to engage with a therapist. That being said, many people are more comfortable and able to successfully maneuver adjustments in their daily routine, in their family structure, home life, work, relationships, etc. Others however, may struggle with developing or utilizing ways of coping with such change.
In my career I have worked with a variety of ages ranging from young children through senior citizens in clinic, office, home, and hospital-based settings. I utilize multiple modalities with a direct approach to assist people in getting to the root-cause of their underlying emotional distress. This can affect people of all ages and stages of life.
I will work with you to find ways to empower you and to identify core issues and/or triggers associated with the presenting problem(s).
