I work with adults, intimate partners, and adolescents to meet them where they are to collaborate, with the mission to shed light on their journeys towards awareness, acceptance, and change they want. I am passionate about working with complex trauma/PTSD, interpersonal relationship issues, anxiety, depression, people-pleasing, perfectionism, neurodivergence, self-confidence, grief, and multicultural issues that arise within AAPI, BIPOC, immigrant, LGBTQIA+, and multiracial/ethnic communities.
As a biracial 1st/2nd-gen AAPI trauma-informed therapist, a culturally-affirmative, intersectional, biopsychosocial lens is foundational in my practice in which I seek to learn how environment, history and context can shape nuanced experiences and stories. EMDR is one of the modalities I integrate into my work with trauma and other symptoms and distress.
We can tend to move on autopilot and forget the power of choice. I value using therapy as a space to provide opportunity to explore and learn how to make the choices that embody you and allow you to lead your life authentically.
