I have been a psychotherapist for 35+ years, working with individuals, couples and families. Life is a challenge and often presents us with moments that are difficult to handle by ourselves. Seeking counseling is a way of helping us learn how to better understand and cope with those times when we feel stuck. A willingness to reveal our problems, an openness to looking at how we respond to problems and commitment to change are all acts of great courage.
I believe that we all have the capacity to live successful and fulfilling lives. Sometimes we need new information, new perspective, new skills and an opportunity to express ourselves more completely to achieve this.
