As a mindfulness-based Gestalt therapist, I work with you to help you understand how experiences affect you in the present moment. Our work together will involve a present-centered approach. Rather than analyzing potential outcomes of past situations, I will help you to work toward change by bringing awareness to your present body state, and how to live and work mindfully in current circumstances.

I have extensive experience working with individuals with life transitions, trauma, substance abuse and eating disorders. I use Gestalt Therapy techniques to help clients become tuned into their body facilitating the discovery of their own inner resources. They can feel support for the changes they choose to make for themselves.

Rather then pointing out previous negative patterns, I focus attention on how a situation is effecting the individual now, so that those changes the individual desires become clear. The pace of therapy is determined by what feels manageable for the individual.
