Hi, My name is Linda Sharples and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) I am based in Murrieta but provide therapy statewide via telehealth. I work with individuals, couples, and families addressing anxiety, depression, family dysfunction, and the stress associated with life transitions.
I have experience with serious illnesses such as cancer, dementia, and end-of-life issues. I have worked extensively with young people transitioning into adulthood and enjoy working with children utilizing play therapy. I have some training in Gottman couples therapy and am certified in Prepare Enrich marriage therapy.
Our first session will be a time to connect with my clients, build trust, and help them to feel safe. I will ask the client to describe their symptoms and the context and will listen allowing the client to disclose information as and when they feel comfortable doing so.
