Do you want to learn to carry grief with grace? Do you feel despair or shame from eating emotionally? Does it seem impossible to accept your body? Have you lost a loved one to Cancer or COVID? Grief and eating disorder recovery are my specialties. I can help you recover from disordered eating/body image hatred, and not pass it on to your daughter. I work with women on body acceptance, and a non-diet approach to recovery. I can assist you in learning love your life, even after loss. I can help guide you in learning to carry grief with grace.

I offer compassionate empathy, pragmatic tools, humor, and depth. I love bringing in creativity and expressive arts (you do NOT have be an artist!) In addition, I incorporate family of origin awareness, and am 12 step friendly. If you are interested, I can facilitate guiding you in utilizing mindfulness.

I know the recovery terrain, having travelled my own journey of healing from an eating disorder twenty-five years ago. I know the "in the trenches" experience of motherhood. If you are experiencing grief, I can be a cheerleader for post traumatic growth. I know you don't "move on" from grief, but learn to "go on" with grit and grace.

The Art of Grief: A Guided Journey for Widows

This program is for you if your person died. We will use expressive arts (writing, drawing, soulcollage(R)) to travel more compassionately and creatively with grief. SoulCollage(R) is an expressive arts modality using collage to image the many parts of yourself. Creative quiet time, time to make art (you do not have to be "an artist"), using art as spiritual practice, and connection with other widows will be the focus. You can vision your ideal life, and what you would like to live your way into.
