I believe that we can use the information from our past to shape how we live now. I know that you are the expert on yourself. My role as your therapist is to provide space where you can make sense of and learn from the past to help you deepen your insight and knowledge of yourself. I also offer tools and resources that support coping with current issues in a healthy way.
Having a safe, comfortable, and non-judgmental atmosphere to process anything you want to bring to the table is the most important healing aspect of therapy. With that in place, I will draw from Cognitive-Behavioral techniques, mindfulness and breathing exercises, Existentialism, Gestalt, and other modalities to tailor therapy to your specific needs.
I have experience working with adults of all ages and enjoy working with LGBTQ+ clients as well as folks who are struggling to cope with anxiety, depression, relationship and communication issues, and life transitions. I believe that therapy is for everyone and would encourage people who want to deepen their understanding of themselves to reach out to me.
