I am a licensed professional counselor that specializes in working with adolescents, adults and older adults. I also work with couples. The majority of the clients I work with are of diverse populations that struggle with anxiety, depression, life transitions and relational issues to name a few. Treatment goals are specific in helping clients regain control of their lives and help them develop trust within themselves to do the work to live happier lives.
I like to meet my clients where they are currently in their lives. The treatment methods depend on the client in which I utilize more of an eclectic approach but I usually use a client centered, CBT, solution focused, and/or strengths based approach.
Building a strong therapeutic foundation comes first! I seek to empower clients through validation and encouragement for them not to give up on themselves when life gets hard. I provide a safe space for clients where they feel comfortable being their true authentic self and acceptance of who they really are.
