I believe each individual has unique needs, and require anindividual plan. I specialize in anxiety, mood disorders, trauma issues, depression, eating disorders, relationships, and other areas. I am certified in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Level 3 Trained Gottman Therapy for Couples, in addition to other treatment modalities. My goal is for each person to have a positive growth experience of change and be able to interact openly during our time together. A counselor who speaks fluent Spanish and one to work with children ages 5 to 12 will be available.
Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) is a proven process that works for different types of distressing events. EMDR processes those events, which can turn into depression,anxiety, PTSD. Gottman Theory for Couples is a proven theory that helps build a sound relationship by learning communication skills that benefits each partner in the marriage.
I am a retired military spouse. I have listened with an open mind to many who were going through difficult times in their lives.
