With more than forty years of clinical experience, I work with adolescents and adults presenting with a diversity of problems. I am skilled in assisting clients to navigate through life's problems and to acquire the coping skills necessary to provide both symptom relief and greater overall life satisfaction. I enjoy working with motivated clients who are willing to make the those changes necessary to achieve a more gratifying and meaningful life. As a seasoned clinician, I am grateful and honored to be in a profession that affords me the opportunity to both guide and witness an individual's journey towards personal growth.
I provide outpatient individual, couples and family therapy to adolescents and adults. My specialties include Eating Disorders and Addictions, both of which I have certifications. My treatment approach is humanistic, psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral. By examining counterproductive thoughts, feelings and behaviors, positive changes become possible.
As an ethical professional with integrity, I am an active listener and participant and provide a safe environment to promote a positive therapeutic relationship. I will collaborate with other professionals to insure proper client care and promote one’s overall well-being. I also advocate participation in community group support systems when appropriate.
