I have had good results treating clients of all ages and most mental health problems. I have worked with a lot of children, parents who are trying to get their families reunited after CPS has removed them. Many addictions issues and clients on probation. I have treated many veterans, rape victims, and children and adults who have suffered trauma in their childhood. I have great success using TF-CBT. Most of my clients suffer from Bipolar Disorder (mostly depressive, mostly manic, and several mixed. I have worked with many Psychoses and in Forensics. I love my work and have a wide variety of experience and advanced training.
I attribute my success to excellent education and 7 years of post-graduate work beyond what is required for my job. I love to learn at an accelerated pace. Someday I hope to complete a Ph.D. For now, I just enjoy my clients and researching and running differential diagnoses for the wide variety of clients my current job presents.
I have a deeper level of empathy and understanding to victims of abuse, trauma, crime, and captivity because of personal experiences I survived from a very young age, and from my professional experiences. I also was fortunate enough to get an excellent education from very special professors. I have truly been blessed in that area.
