Everyone experiences trauma at some point in their lives. Anxiety, anger, forgetfulness, fear, sadness, survivor’s guilt, a diminished sense of self and feelings of helplessness are just some of the emotions experienced after a disturbing life-altering event . Rather than trauma, maybe you’re just feeling overwhelmed and stifled. Perhaps the joy you once felt has diminished, and you feel like it’s a struggle to get through a day. Maybe you’ve tried to make changes but find yourself falling back into the same old patterns. Are you going through a challenging transition and needing emotional support and guidance?
I use a holistic approach using traditional and non-traditional modalities to include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), Trauma-Informed Care, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I am a certified psychedelic-assisted therapist.
Telling your story in a non-judgmental, safe environment is powerful in bringing awareness, healing and closure to distressing, traumatic events. Combined with holistic therapeutic approaches, it is possible to recover and heal.
