I hold a Bachelors Degree in psychology and a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan. I am a licensed clinical social worker as well as a certified special education teacher and school counselor. My counseling approach is based on my philosophy that people wish to flourish and be as happy and healthy as possible. I believe that we all need help and support from time to time. I rely heavily on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy for the majority of my work.

I believe these method are reliable and the most effective treatment methods for most moderate difficulties people face.

These approaches also support my philosophy that most of us have the ability to cope with great difficulty with some support and guidance.
