My approach includes CBT, Motivational Interviewing, incremental goal setting, and an objective view of your journey. Positive psychology and being sensitive to the client's needs by working with multi-modal theories. l teach a way I developed to decrease frustration by allowing others to have different opinions without seeing it as a challenge to fight. I am warm and accepting, encouraging and confrontational when needed.
I see many clients who are givers and care about who they are and what they provide to themselves, their families, and the world at large. I teach clients how to meet their own needs.
