My name is Linda Millican and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor, and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. I earned a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University in Virginia. My undergraduate work includes a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Business Education from Concordia College in Minnesota, and a Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies from Austin Theological Seminary in Texas. I work with adolescents, adults, couples and families who are experiencing trauma, infidelity, substance abuse/addictions, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). I am trained
I specialize in helping individuals and families by assessing each person from a biological, psychological, sociological, and spiritual perspective. I address every person's need for love, acceptance, and belonging, and use an integrated approach to therapy with the focus on instilling hope and improving broken relationships with self, family, and important others.
I have been married to my husband for 42 years and have three grown children, a son-in-law and daughter-in-law, and five grandchildren. I enjoy rich relationships with others. I develop a safe, trusting, therapeutic alliance with my clients as a foundation for offering treatment interventions which are research based and effective today.
