If you find yourself exhausted from stress, dealing with shame, lack of sleep, panic attacks, isolation or just plain feeling bad about yourself, it could be time to try something new. If you feel like you don't want to be a burden to the people in your life by sharing your struggles, you are not alone. I love providing a safe space for people who haven't felt comfortable to open up with others, or have a hard time asking for help. I want to walk with you through the weird, embarrassing, and painful parts of your life so that you can find comfort, acceptance, hope and strategies to face your challenges.
I love encouraging clients to process difficult memories, find ways to regain a sense of calm, and stop living in survival mode. I enjoy treating those with burnout from caring for others, general anxiety, or who have a history of trauma. I am trained in CBT and EMDR and focus on healing of the mind and body. I can offer a Christian perspective, if desired.
My style is warm, light-hearted, and goal-oriented. My desire is to be your support as you take steps to live a purposeful and stable life. I am a firm believer that life can get better. It is amazing the transformation that can occur when we feel heard, understood, and focused on the things we value most. I look forward to hearing your story!
