My Masters' curriculum focused on LGBTQ Affirmative psychology, and I did my training at the Los Angeles LGBT Center. I am also WPATH Certified as a gender specialist, and am the proud mother of a gay son. These experiences have equipped me with unique skills to understand and treat the issues faced by LGBTQ individuals and those who love them.

Groups
Therapy Support Group for Parents of LGBTQ Youth
Many parents experience loss and uncertainty when their child acknowledges their identity as being something other than heterosexual or when their gender expression/identity doesn't match their assigned gender at birth. Exploring your emotions with others in similar situations provides insight and support so that you can move to a place of affirmation and joy. I will provide education on LGBTQ identity development, parenting strategies, resources and support. The group will be comprised of 6-10 moms and dads. We will meet for 90 minutes on Wednesdays at 7:00 pm using tele-therapy.
